Mississippi Affirmative Olmstead Initiative (MAOI), in partnership with the Mississippi Department of Mental Health (DMH) and the CHOICE program, focuses on providing tax credit housing for people with disabilities. It helps secure accessible, community-based housing and rental assistance for individuals with mental illness. The three properties that qualify under this initiative are Camellia Apartments in Cleveland, MS; Willow Park Apartments in Clarksdale, MS; and Forest Glen Apartments in Hattiesburg, MS.
